If you notice a student out of dress code, have a conversation with the student and see if it can be corrected in class. If not, call the school counselor or front office to notify an administrator. If the student says "The principal didn't say anything," still call ; often, this means that the administrator did not notice (As much as we wish we were, we just aren't perfect) or the student is not telling the whole truth.

SCHOOL STANDARD MODE OF DRESS
Tops
- Polo’s, school purchased t-shirts or sweatshirts, turtlenecks, or blouses
- Must be solid red, white, or black (unless it's a school shirt).
- Outerwear: jackets, hoodies, sweatshirts and sweaters may be of any color but must not be substantially disruptive, provocative , obscene; or endanger the health or safety of the student or others.
Bottoms
- Khaki or black
- Pants, shorts, or skirts (no more than 2 inches above the knee).
- No jean, jegging or sweatpant material
Shoes
- Tennis shoe, oxford (lace-up) style or boots with a heel no more than 1 inch.
- House slippers or other backless shoes are not part of the school uniform.
- For safety purposes, steel-toe shoes, athletic cleats, “slides,” and/or flip flops are not part of the school uniform and are not permitted.
Headwear
- Headwear (such as hats, caps, handkerchiefs, bandanas, curlers, picks, combs, do-rags, sweatbands, etc.) not permitted
- No sunglasses shall be worn inside school
- Hoods are allowed to be worn at halfway within the school building.
