INSTRUCTIONAL PLANS
Each staff member will keep a virtual Instructional Plan that will be updated quarterly.
Staff members may choose to use the instructional plan as their daily lesson planning, but are encouraged to identify other systems (ex: lesson plan templates, lesson notes, etc) to create more detailed plans for themselves so that they facilitate high level learning experiences for scholars. Here are some examples of Lesson Plan Templates, but staff may pursue other planning options. Admin is here to help you find the right process for you!
ACCOMMODATION LOGS
Accommodation logs will be kept in a physical binder or organized folder near your teacher desk such that students will not access it, but school and district leadership can easily find it
RESOURCES
Math and Science Weebly
https://achievethecore.org/
Open Educational Resources (aka free AND of high quality)
SPECIAL CLASSROOM LEARNING EXPERIENCE
If you have planned a special learning experience for your students, please inform administration at least a day in advance; we would love to document and share your events! Remember that a guest or classroom volunteer must complete prior approval before entering classroom (see O'Meara).
EMERGENCY LESSON PLANS
Each teacher is expected to have a contingency plan that could be used on any given day in the event of an emergency prepared, and submitted to Ms. Parker. CLICK HERE for detailed expectations.
